Master of Health Informatics—Online
Health Informatics is a fast growing field that requires professionals who can demonstrate knowledge in the use of technologies which improve patient care, overall healthcare, and population health.
This master's degree program is designed to develop well-rounded health informatics professionals in the application of information technology and systems to healthcare. Faculty from the College of Allied Health Sciences and the Carl H. Linder College of Business have come together to create a curriculum that exists at the intersection of health, healthcare, business intelligence, and information technology (IT) and systems. The curriculum accommodates individuals from a variety of backgrounds including IT and information systems (IS), healthcare administration, healthcare practice, and project management.

In 2014, the Masters of Health Informatics and the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) joined forces to create a new, accelerated program combining UC’s bachelor of science in Information Technology, a master’s of science in Health Informatics and five semesters of co-op experience in just five years.
