Master of Occupational Therapy (OT)

 Prerequisite Coursework

The following courses must be completed prior to admission into the MOT Program. Applicants who have at least 75% of prerequisite coursework completed or in progress at time of application may be admitted on a conditional basis pending satisfactory completion of the remaining courses (grade of “C” or higher) prior to beginning the MOT Program.

Many of these prerequisites are available online at UC (noted below).  If you would like to enroll in these courses at UC, please fill out and submit the non-matriculated OT form.

Anatomy and Physiology

 

 

Minimum 6 semester credits - Can be taken as separate course or combined. Both anatomy and physiology content must include all human body systems. A gross anatomy lab is highly recommended but not required.

Introduction to Occupational Therapy

 

Minimum of 3 semester credits that includes content on the history of occupational therapy, AOTA Code of Ethics and Core Values, and Occupational Therapy Practice Framework.
