National Student Academy of Audiology (SAA Cincinnati Chapter)
The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) is the national student division of American Academy of Audiology. Composed of over 2,000 members across the country, this organization helps you become active in the field of audiology by helping in community outreach programs, hearing awareness, and being advocates for the profession.

The University of Cincinnati Chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology is working hard to improve hearing health and hearing awareness locally and as far away as Cancun, Mexico. UC SAA meets monthly and is active year round participating in fundraising events, hearing screenings and hearing awareness activities, and traveling to impoverished regions to offer hearing health care to those who otherwise would not have access to it.

National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA)

NSSLHA is the national pre-professional membership organization of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders.  The University of Cincinnati has a very active chapter that meets monthly. NSSLHA students participate in philanthropy, fundraising, volunteering, listening to guest speakers and much more. Faculty advisor: Dr. Carney Sotto,, 513-558-8528.
