The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is putting the first year coursework required for application to the PTA Technical Core Year on a one-year hold to allow for a reformatting of the program. No new freshmen will be admitted into the program until Fall 2008.


Thank you for your interest in the University of Cincinnati's Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA) Program.

Physical Therapist Assisting is a two-year academic and technical program leading to an associate degree from the College of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Cincinnati. Students completing the Program are eligible to take an examination for state licensure. The Program is accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
