Students are also required to have Bloodborne Pathogen Insurance (BBPI), which will be charged annually to the student bill (charged your first summer term and all fall terms).  The BBP Insurance is included in Student Health Insurance if the student enrolls for the insurance plan. Otherwise, if the student health insurance is waived and student maintains their own policy, they will be charged $16 for BBPI. This fee cannot be waived.

Financial Aid

Students in doctoral graduate programs are encouraged to fill out and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If already completed, access the "Check My Aid" link on the application page to check your status. For further assistance, contact our Enrollment Services at 513-556-1000, or email enrollmentservices@uc.edu. We've been told students should update their FSFA immediately after spring semester if you are trying to get more funding for the first summer semester of the DPT program since it aligns with the 2025-2026 academic year.

Tuition Payment Plans

Payment plans offer you the ability to spread tuition and fees payments across a semester. To learn more, visit the Catalyst Student Portal. Enter your login information and, under the "My Finances" tab at the top of the page, choose the "Billing Information" drop down and select "Payment Plan Enrollment."

Scholarships

At this time, the DPT admissions committee, and other scholarship committees determine student scholarships based on your PTCAS applications.  Scholarship offers were awarded upon admission to the program.

Be sure to check out Scholarship Universe for potential scholarship opportunities.  Also available, is the Scholarship page provided by Enrollment Services.

Note: If eligible, you would have already received GIA/GAS funding information in your admission letter or a separate email.

Other Opportunities

Veteran Education Benefits

If you are a veteran, you could qualify for Veteran Educational Benefits or GI Bill funding. General information for veterans is available in UC's Veterans Programs & Services section.

Resources

Our Financial Aid Office is the best source of information.  They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the financial aid process.

Last year we had a representative from Enrollment Services talk to our students.  We though the presentation would be helpful to you as well.
